This section provides resources related to powerful pathways that teachers can take to differentiate and scaffold instruction using remote learning tools to design personal pathways that support all learners with multiple entry points.


SAMPLE PATHWAYS

Grade 4: Finding Factor Pairs

Supports students to 1) develop multiplication and division fact fluency and 2) develops an understanding and strategies for finding factors, multiples, and primes.

Grade 7: Understanding Ratio Tables

Supports students in 1) understanding of ratios and rates, 2) understanding the basic meaning and usage of ratios, rates, and unit rates, and 3) solving problems with ratio tables.

Grade 1: relating Counting to Addition

Supports students to 1) finding 1 or 2 more than a number by fully modeling it with objects or pictures, and 2) counting on to find 1 or 2 more than a number, and 3) extending concepts of counting on up to 5 more.

Grade 3: Subtraction

Supports students to 1) subtract using a range of efficient strategies and explain why they work and 2) subtract three-digit numbers, but only when no regrouping is required.
